1September 28th, 2013 - Jared entered the opening round of the 10th Annual Lucas Oil Knoxville Late Model Nationals on Thursday evening at Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, Iowa) as a talented field of 72 entries entered the $7,000-to-win event.

Jared started his night by advancing to a2nd place finish in his heat race to lock into the 3rd starting spot for the 25 lap, preliminary feature. Landers battled in the top five early in the event before receiving damage, after jumping the cushion, which caused him to fade to a 16th place finish.

A fresh, $7,000-to-win event was contested on Friday evening at the historic, 1/2 mile oval, and via time trials and the invert, Landers started 7th in his heat race. He would go on to finish 7th, which relegated him to the C-main, where he finished 2nd to transfer to the B-main. In the B-main he would be unable to advance to a transfer spot to the main event as his night came to an early end.

Via his performances on the preliminary nights Jared locked into the 20th starting spot for Saturday night's $40,000-to-win finale. The feature would prove to be an uphill struggle for Landers as setup woes forced him pitside on multiple occasions before he ultimately retired to a 22nd place finish.

1September 21st, 2013 - After a much-needed week away from racing action Jared Landers returned to the cockpit of his #5 Clint Bowyer Racing/Peak Motor Oil/Barry Wright Super Late Model over the weekend with a pair of scheduled Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) events.

Unfortunately the weekend opened with a rain out as the $10,000-to-win, Ralph Latham Memorial was washed away at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky).

Despite heavy overnight rain that drenched Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana), the facility was able to host the 34th Annual Jackson 100. The historic, 1/4 mile oval drew a field of 46 entries to the facility, and a 2nd place finish in his heat race transferred Landers to the 7th starting spot for the 100 lap finale. The rough, racing surface wreaked havoc on Landers for the feature as he would slow on lap 27 and lap 68 as he ultimately retired to a 16th place finish.

Jared is currently 8th in the latest series' standings. Full results from the events as well as the latest series' standings are available at www.LucasDirt.com

He would go on to storm to a 2nd place finish in the heat to lock into the 12th starting spot for the 25 lap, preliminary feature. In the main event passing would be difficult, and Landers slid backwards to a 16th place finish.

Another 2nd place finish in his heat race sent him to the feature in the 8th starting spot. Landers raced in the top ten throughout the 25 lap affair before crossing the finish line in the 7th spot.

The mega-event drew to a close on Saturday evening with a program that was headlined by the $46,000-to-win finale. 1September 1st, 2013 - A busy Labor Day weekend with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) began on Friday night at Attica Raceway Park (Attica, Ohio) as Jared entered his first-career race at the facility.

Thirty-one Super Late Models were in the pits for the $10,000-to-win race, and a 3rd place finish in his heat race locked Jared into the 10th starting spot for the 50 lap finale. Landers raced around mid-pack throughout the feature before crossing the finish line in the 14th position.

The $15,000-to-win, River Days Rumble drew the Clint Bowyer Motorsports team to Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) on Saturday evening as 37 entries took part in the LOLMDS program. Preliminary action found Jared failing to qualify for the feature, and as a result he was forced to utilize a provisional to start the main event in the 23rd position. Early in the feature he advanced several spots through the field before drawing a lap 34 caution for mechanical issues. He was able to rebound to a 16th place finish.

Landers' weekend drew to a close on Sunday evening at I-77 Raceway Park (Ripley, West Virginia), where the 45th Annual Hillbilly 100 was held. The LOLMDS sanctioned program drew a field of 60 Super Late Models to the bullring, and Jared fell short of locking into the feature via heat race action, but a win in his b-main locked him into the 20th starting spot for the 100 lap finale. The finale at the tight oval found Landers going on to race to a 13th place finish.
