1August 31st, 2014 - A busy Labor Day weekend with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) began on Friday night at Attica Raceway Park (Attica, Ohio). Thirty-one Super Late Models were in the pits for the $10,000-to-win race, and second place finish in his heat race locked Jared into the seventh starting spot for the 50 lap finale. Landers raced around the top ten throughout the feature before crossing the finish line in the tenth position.

The $10,000-to-win, River Days Rumble drew the Double L Motorsports team to Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) on Saturday evening as thirty-four entries took part in the LOLMDS program. Preliminary action found Jared once again finishing second in his heat race, and as a result he would start sixth on the feature grid. Landers advanced to a third place finish in the 50 lap main event behind race winner, Jackie Boggs and Steve Francis. Eddie Carrier Jr. and Scott Bloomquist rounded out the top five finishers.

Landers' weekend drew to a close on Sunday evening at I-77 Raceway Park (Ripley, West Virginia), where the 46th Annual Hillbilly Hundred was held. The LOLMDS sanctioned program drew a field of forty-two Super Late Models to the bullring, and Jared fell short of locking into the feature via heat race action, but a win in his b-main locked him into the seventeenth starting spot for the 100 lap finale. The main event at the tight oval found Landers going on to race to a fourteenth place finish.

1August 23rd, 2014 - The extremely busy slate for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) competitors took them into Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) on Thursday evening for the 11th Annual Scorcher at the 4/10 mile oval.

Twenty-seven competitors looked to "The Gap," and a sixth place finish in his heat race locked Landers into the sixteenth starting spot for the feature. Despite starting near the back of the pack, Jared charged through the field to register a solid fifth place finish at the checkered flag. He trailed only race winner, Dale McDowell, Mike Marlar, John Blankenship, and Scott Bloomquist across the finish line.

On Friday night the team made the trip to Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Kentucky) for an ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series event. Thirty-eight entries converged on the 3/8 mile oval for the $10,001-to-win program, and Jared missed the transfer to the finale via heat race action. Rain began to fallow before the start of the b-main, and the team made the decision to scratch from the balance of the program. Full results from the event are available at www.ULTIMATESupers.com

Landers concluded his weekend with a solid top ten finish on Saturday night as he traveled to Lawrenceburg Speedway (Lawrenceburg, Indiana) for the Whiskey City 50, which posted a $10,000 winner's check at the state-of-the-art facility. Twenty-seven entries took to the oval, and Landers started his night by winning his heat race to lock into the third starting spot for the finale. In the main event he raced in the top five early before slipping to a seventh place finish in the final rundown.

1August 16th, 2014 - Jared was back in action at his home track over the weekend as he participated in the 22nd Annual COMP Cams Topless 100 presented by Crop Production Services at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas).

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), and the Lucas Oil presents the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series sanctioned event attracted a field of 55 entries to the 3/8 mile on Friday evening. After qualifying 21st fastest in his group Landers started seventh in his heat race. He advanced to a third place finish, locking him into the eighteenth starting spot for Saturday's $40,000-to-win main event.

During the course of Saturday's 100 lap finale, Landers climbed through the field to record a solid top ten finish in the final rundown.

1August 9th, 2014 - After a much needed break from racing Jared Landers resumed action with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) over the weekend in the 32nd Annual North/South 100 at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky).

A strong field of fifty-three entries took to the 1/2 mile oval as Friday night's program was highlighted by double heat races. Via his heat race performances Jared locked into the fifth starting spot for the Inside Row Feature Line Up Dash on Saturday.

On Saturday evening Landers started his night by finishing fifth in the dash to lock into the ninth starting spot for the 100 lap, $50,000-to-win finale. During the course of the main event he battled around the top five for much of the race before crossing the finish line in fifth behind race winner, Eddie Carrier Jr., Scott Bloomquist, Jimmy Mars, and John Blankenship.
