November 8th, 2014 - The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway (Concord, North Carolina) played host to the 8th Annual World Finals over the weekend as Jared Landers took part in the event. A strong field of seventy-five entries took part in the pair of $12,000-to-win events, and Thursday night's program was headlined by a two rounds of qualifying, which set the heat race line-ups for Friday and Saturday night's events.
Via his qualifying effort Landers started sixth in his heat race on Friday night, and advanced to a third place finish, which locked him into the eighteenth starting spot for the 50 lap feature. In the main event Jared advanced to a sixteenth place finish at the checkered flag.
On Saturday evening Jared earned the third starting spot for his heat race but slipped to a fourth place finish, which left him one spot short of earning a transfer to the feature. As a result he would have to run a b-main, which he would win to lock into the 20th starting position for the finale. Landers would ultimately retire to a disappointing 28th place finish.
