1September 27th, 2014 - Jared entered the opening round of the 11th Annual Lucas Oil Knoxville Late Model Nationals on Thursday evening at Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, Iowa) as a talented field of seventy-nine entries entered the $7,000-to-win event.

Jared started his night by registering a fifth place finish in his heat, sending him a b-main where he advanced to a second place finish to lock into the 20th starting spot for the 25 lap, preliminary feature. With passing being difficult, Jared only managed to advance two positions to an eighteenth place finish in the final rundown.

Another $7,000-to-win event was contested on Friday evening at the historic, 1/2 mile oval, and via time trials and the invert, Landers started seventh in his heat race. He would go on to finish fifth, which relegated him to the b-main. He finished second in the b-main to lock into the 20th starting spot for the 25 lap feature event. In the feature, Jared advanced to a sixteenth place finish.

Via his performances on the preliminary nights Jared locked into the seventeenth starting spot for Saturday night's 100 lap, $40,000-to-win finale. In the main event Landers battled the handle on his #777 Crop Production Services/Rocket Super Late Model, and would ultimately cross the finish line in sixteenth.

1September 20th, 2014 - Jared Landers resumed action with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) over the weekend with the 35th Annual Jackson 100 at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana). A strong field of forty-seven entries took to the 1/4 mile oval on Friday night for qualifications, and via his qualifying effort Landers locked into the fifth starting spot for his heat race on Saturday evening.

He would advance to a third place finish in the heat race to earn the tenth starting spot for the 100 lap, $20,000-to-win finale. Landers battled the handling on his entry throughout the feature before ultimately retiring on lap 79 to a nineteenth place finish.

1September 13th, 2014 - Jared Landers and the Double L Motorsports team entered the opening round of the St. Louis Showdown on Friday night at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois).

A stout field of thirty-seven UMP Super Late Models registered for the event, which posted a $10,000 winner's check. Jared qualified fourth in his respective group to lock into the fourth starting spot for his heat race. He slipped to a seventh place finish in the heat, forcing him to run a b-main. Landers advanced from his sixth starting spot to win the b-main, earning him the seventeenth starting spot on the feature grid. During the course of the 50 lapper, Jared battled around mid-pack for much of the race before settling to a nineteenth place finish at the checkered flag.

1The St. Louis Showdown finale was contested on Saturday night at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Missouri). The $10,000-to-win program drew a field of thirty UMP Super Late Models to the oval, and via qualifications Jared earned the sixth starting spot for his heat race. He only managed a fifth place finish in the heat, which sent him to a b-main. Landers won the b-main after starting second, positioning him seventeenth on the feature grid. Despite starting near the back of the pack, Jared charged through the field to a solid sixth place finish in the final rundown.

1September 6th, 2014 - The 44th Annual World 100 was held over the weekend at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) as 117 entries converged on the legendary, 1/2 mile oval for the crown jewel.

On Thursday evening the field was divided into a pair of $5,000-to-win programs, and via qualifying Jared earned the fourth starting spot for his heat race. He slipped to a sixth place finish in the heat, sending him to a b-main where he started ninth on the grid. In the b-main Landers advanced to a fourth place finish, but only the top three finishers went on to the 25 lap, preliminary feature as his night came to an early end. (Zach Yost Photo)

Friday night found another pair of $5,000-to-win races being held, and the team once again would struggle to find the setup on their #777 Crop Production Services/Rocket Super Late Model. As a result, Jared failed to reach a transfer position into the feature.

The mega-event drew to a close on Saturday evening with a program that was headlined by the $47,000-to-win finale. With heat race line-ups determined from qualifying on Thursday and Friday plus an inversion of six, Jared started eleventh in his heat race before charging to a third place finish to lock into the fourteenth starting spot for the 100 lap finale. Landers was an early retire from the feature, ending his weekend with a disappointing 27th place finish in the final rundown.
