|February 19th, 2016 - Competing in the 45th Annual UMP DIRTcar Nationals, Jared Landers traveled to Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) on Monday for the opening night of the six-day event. Laying down the fastest time in a field of forty-six Super Late Models, Jared earned a front row starting spot for his heat. Scoring a 2nd place finish behind Jason Feger in his heat, Landers transferred into the A-Main with a 6th place starting spot. Battling for $7,000 payday, Jared Landers improved one spot in the 30-lap feature recording a 5th place finish behind Billy Moyer Jr., Dennis Erb Jr., Frank Heckenast Jr., and Shane Clanton.
Battling in a field of fifty-one cars on Tuesday night, Jared laid down the 3rd quickest time in his qualifying group. Falling one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 4th place finish, Landers transferred into the B-Main for another shot at the $7,000-to-win feature. Cruising to a 10-lap consolation win, Jared was set to start near the tail for the feature. Gaining one position in the 30-lapper, Jared Landers retired a 19th place outing.
For the final night of the UMP DIRTcar Nationals, Landers earned a 2nd row starting spot for his heat after recording the 3rd fastest time in his group. Transferring the top three into the feature, Jared edged his way into the main event on Wednesday night with a 3rd place finish. Returning on Thursday night, Jared Landers was one of fifty-eight cars signed in for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series (WoO). Running in 2nd in his heat, Landers dropped a drive-shaft sending him into the B-Main for another shot at the feature. Transferring the top three into the A-Main, Jared failed to make it out for the consolation event.
Laying down the 5th fastest qualifying time in his group on Friday night, Jared was slated to start on the front row of his heat alongside Brian Shirley. Cruising to a 10-lap heat race win, Landers earned a 3rd place starting spot for the feature after the redraw. Battling for a $10,000 payday, Jared Landers slowed on lap-10 retiring a 31st place outing.

February 14th, 2016 - Following the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series tour, Jared Landers headed to East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) on Monday night for the opening night of Winternationals. Recording the 6th fastest qualifying time in a group of thirty-five cars, Landers captured a runner-up spot in his heat behind Tim Dohm. Starting in 5th for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Jared improved two spots in the 25-lap event notching a podium finish behind Josh Richards and Jimmy Owens with Tim Dohm and Tim McCreadie rounding out the top five. On Tuesday night in a field of forty-one entries, Jared Landers logged the 4th fastest qualifying time in his group. Earning a front row starting spot for his heat, Jared cruised to an 8-lap heat race victory. Starting alongside Scott Bloomquist on the front row of the A-Main, Landers was running in 2nd until issues came with 2 laps remaining. Battling for a podium finish, Jared Landers and Bloomquist made contact, causing Landers to spin and retire early from the event.
Recording the 3rd fastest qualifying time in his group on Wednesday night, Jared Landers was slated to start on the front row of his heat alongside Mike Marlar. Transferring the top four into the feature, Landers held his starting position for all 8 laps recording a 2nd place finish behind Marlar. Earning a top five starting position for the feature, Jared was battling in the front of the pack until late in the race. Spinning out on lap-20, Jared Landers fell back to a 19th place outing in the 35-lap affair.
Battling for the 4th night of the LOLMDS Winternationals at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida), Jared Landers earned the pole position starting spot for his heat after recording the 2nd fastest qualifying time in his group. Losing one spot, Landers captured a runner-up finish in his heat behind Gregg Satterlee. With $7,000 on the line, Jared improved one position in the 45-lap A-Main recording a 6th place finish.
In a field of thirty-five cars on Friday night, Jared Landers posted the 4th fastest time in his group earning him a front row starting spot for his heat. Following a heat race victory, Landers was slated to start 3rd for the $10,000-to-win main event. Hoping for his first victory of the season, Jared fell back to a 7th place outing in the 50-lapper.
Returning for the final night at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida), Jared scored a 3rd place finish in his heat securing his spot into the 60-lap A-Main. Battling for a $12,000 paycheck on Saturday night, Landers fell back to 15th place finish in the final LOLMDS event of the week at East Bay.
Wrapping up the busy week, Jared Landers headed to Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Florida) on Sunday for the LOLMDS Bubba Army Winternationals. Competing in a field of twenty-six Super Late Models, Jared scored another 3rd place spot in his heat transferring him into the main event. Paying $10,000 to the winner of the 50-lap A-Main, Landers fell one spot retiring a 10th place outing.

February 7th, 2016 - Kicking off the 2016 season, Jared Landers made the trip to Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Georgia) on Friday night for the first Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) event of the season. Drawing forty-five Super Late Models for the Georgia Boot Super Bowl of Racing, Landers captured a heat race win from the pole position starting spot. Transferring into the $10,000-to-win feature with a front row high side starting position, Jared scored a 4th place outing in the 50-lapper behind Josh Richards, Brandon Sheppard, and Jonathan Davenport with Chris Madden rounding out the top five.
Returning to action on Saturday morning for Thursday’s LOLMDS $7,000-to-win makeup, Jared was one of the forty-one entries signed in for the Edward Coggins Memorial. Following the 3rd fastest qualifying time in his group, Landers captured a 2nd place heat finish behind Josh Richards. On Saturday night Jared followed up his 4th fastest qualifying time in his group with a 8-lap heat race victory. With the rain eventually postponing Saturday nights main event to Sunday, Landers earned a 2nd row starting spot for the A-Main. Battling for a $15,000 payday, Jared improved one spot in the 60-lap affair scoring a runner-up spot behind Josh Richards with Jonathan Davenport, Scott Bloomquist, and Eddie Carrier Jr. completing the top five.
