|May 28th, 2016 - Returning with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), Jared Landers invaded to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) on Thursday night for the Cowboy Classic. In a stacked field of fifty-seven cars, Landers earned a 3rd place starting spot for his heat after timing in 7th fastest in his group. Cruising to a heat race win, Jared was slated to start on the pole for the $6,000-to-win feature. Running in 2nd on lap-2, Landers brought out a caution after getting turned around in turn two. Jared ended the event in 22nd place.
On Friday night in a field of fifty-six cars, Jared improved one position in his heat capturing a heat race win. Earning the pole position starting spot for the feature paying honor to Don and Billie Gibson, Landers swapped in and out for the lead early in the event. Grabbing the lead for good on lap-10, Jared Landers went on to secure his first victory of the season with Scott Bloomquist, Tim McCreadie, Jimmy Owens, and Steve Francis rounding out the top five. Wrapping up the Memorial Day weekend on Saturday, Jared Landers was slated to start 5th for the 24th Annual Show-Me 100 via preliminary points the previous two nights. Battling in the top five early on, Jared slipped by race leader Jonathan Davenport on lap 45. Following a slip-up on lap 53, Landers pulled off seven laps later with a busted radiator logging a 16th place outing.

May 21st, 2016 - Jared Landers traveled to Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway (Oshkosh, Wisconsin) on Friday for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) event. With thirty-eight cars signed in for the Spring Shootout, Jared secured his spot into the feature with a runner-up finish in his heat behind Tim McCreadie. Starting in 5th, Landers improved two spots in the 50-lapper notching a 3rd place finish behind A.J. Diemel and Chris Simpson with Tim McCreadie and Brandon Sheppard rounding out the top five.
Saturday night brought the LOLMDS followers to La Salle Speedway (LaSalle, Illinois) for the $12,000-to-win show. Sending the top four out of the heats into the feature, Jared edged his way into the 50-lapper with a 4th place outing. Starting in 13th, Landers gained one spot recording a 12th place finish.

May 14th, 2016 - Competing in the inaugural Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) Buckeye Nationals, Jared Landers made the trip to Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio) on Friday night for the two-day special. Drawing a stacked field of forty-nine cars, Landers ran into trouble in qualifying when he made contact with the wall. Starting near the tail of his heat race, Jared logged a 9th place outing transferring him into the B-Main on Saturday night. Transferring the top two into the show, Landers had to rely on a provisional to make the main event after placing 10th. Earning a 21st place starting spot for the $50,000-to-win A-Main, Jared Landers improved nine spots in the 75-lap affair posting a 12th place finish.

May 7th, 2016 - With Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) having an off weekend, Jared Landers made the trip to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) on Saturday for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series Mountain Outlaw 50. After posting a 7th place finish in his heat race, Landers edged his way into the main event with a 3rd place outing in his B-Main. Starting in 22nd, Jared fell two spots in the 50-lapper recording a 24th place finish.
