May 28th, 2017 - Behind the wheel of the Bad Boy Mowers #777 Super Late Model, Jared Landers traveled to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) on Thursday for the opening night of the Show-Me 100 weekend. In a field of 67 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries, Landers logged a 5th place finish in his heat race giving him one last shot at the Cowboy Classic A-Main with a B-Main appearance. Sending the Top 2 into the show, Jared came up one position short with a 3rd place outing.

On Friday night for the Tribute to Don & Billie Gibson, Jared secured his spot into the final $6,000-to-win preliminary feature with a 3rd place finish in his heat race. Starting in 11th, Landers dropped six positons in the 40-lap affair registering a 17th place outing.

After severe weather in the area postponed Saturday’s 25th annual Show-Me 100 to Sunday afternoon, Jared locked his spot into the finale with a 2nd place finish in his B-Main behind Chase Junghans. Starting in 22nd for the $30,000-to-win A-Main, Landers charged through the field 13 spots in the 100-lapper reeling in an impressive 8th place finish. (Heath Lawson photo)
